Dr. Anderson is an accomplished ophthalmologist based in Colorado Springs, specializing in cataract surgery. He is board certified and has received advanced training in his field.

Raised in Colorado, Dr. Anderson developed a strong interest in medicine early on. He graduated with Honors from the University of Chicago and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University. He then pursued his medical education at the University of Illinois. Following his graduation, Dr. Anderson completed his ophthalmology residency at Cook County Medical Center, a renowned hospital known for its high patient volume. During his residency, he excelled on the annual ophthalmology in-service exam, scoring in the 90th percentile, and showcased exceptional proficiency in cataract surgery, ranking in the 95th percentile for surgical volume. His exceptional skills and dedication earned him the position of Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Anderson further honed his expertise by completing a Cornea, Refractive, and External Disease Fellowship at Wake Forest University. Additionally, he participated in a humanitarian mission in Honduras, providing cataract surgery to underprivileged individuals in the local community. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Anderson enjoys skiing, golfing, and cherishes quality time with his wife and two young children.
